Classic Crew Neck Pullover Top Down Drop Sleeve.
Mid- Gauge Knitting Machine Pattern.
Basic DK Drop Sleeve Crew Neck Pullover.
Top Down Drop Sleeve.
Age 4 T – Adult Medium
A Basic drop sleeve pullover in DK. It’s easy to knit and requires some shaping at the front neckline.
A great pattern for beginners getting to know their mid gauge knitting machine. It can be knitted as is or used for picture knitting. It also looks great with stripes if you would like to use up your scraps of yarn. You could even use self patterning yarn.
Prepare a swatch according to the instructions in your knitting machine manual to check the tension before you begin this project.
This project was knitted on a LK150 using Double Knit (DK) 100% acrylic.
The front and back hems were knitted in mock rib. You could add a rib of your choice. If you are going to knit a 1 x 1 rib instead of mock rib, then half the number of rows for the ribbing. The neckband, and sleeve ribbing was created by hand manipulating to 1×1 rib.
Any Mid gauge knitting machine can be used but be sure to check the gauge before you begin. If the machine has a ribber attachment, the ribbing can be made automatically.
Hand knitting the ribbing is also an option.
