Classic Headband is a simple fall or winter accessory. It’s worked in the round, using just one stitch and it’s a great project for learning the magic loop method or working with DPNs. It’s an easy one skein project perfect for gift knitting!

Sizes

Width: 10 cm (4”), circumference - adjustable

Yarn & Yardage

Yardages for 50 - 60 cm (20 - 24”) head circumferences: approx. 140 - 170 m (150 - 185 yds) of Merino Fingering, Olivia & Oliver Fibers, 100% superwash merino, 400 m (437 yds) per 100 g, or similar fingering weight (category 1 - super fine) yarn. Sample worked in colorway Prickly Pear.

Needles & Notions

needles: 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needles 80 - 100 cm (32 - 40”) or DPNs, or to fit gauge
notions: stitch marker, tapestry needle, scissors, tape measure
