Gauge:
Without stretching or blocking 14 stitches/2”, 14 stitches/5 cm in K1, P1 ribbing (this counts both the knits and the purls).

To measure by just the knit stitches and exclude the purls, 7 stitches/2” 7 stitches/5 cm.
