All the love of Classic Winnie-the-Pooh and Piglet! Make this lovely blanket for a child in your life, a best friend, or to sell! If you are within the US, there are no copyright issues, as this work is now in the Public Domain!

This is a crochet pattern for a blanket using the Overlay Mosaic technique, which uses two basic crochet stitches to create a thick fabric featuring a picture or intricate design. The blanket is worked with the right side facing at all times. Each row is started on the right and worked to the left, then finished off at the end. There are no color changes within the body of the blanket.

This pattern is beginner friendly, as it explains how to do mosaic (even if you’ve never done it before)! It includes a chart and instructions for reading the chart. It ALSO includes written instructions for the pattern if charts are not your thing! Also included are instructions to anchor your double crochet stitches to eliminate the “gaps” on the back of your blanket.

You will receive 4 patterns - reversible design and standard, for right-handed crocheters and for left-handed.

This pattern uses 2 colors of yarn and the example is made with DK yarn (weight “3”). It measures 36” wide x 48” tall, not counting the fringe. This blanket can be made in any weight yarn, but a different weight will result in a different size in the end. The design is 150 stitches wide and 203 rows.

Needed for this pattern:
Color A (background) -- 1150 yards (1300 yards for reversible pattern)
Color B (design) -- 850 yards (1300 yards for reversible pattern)
Appropriate size crochet hook
