Classic Ribbed Sock
These socks were created when I just wanted some comfort knitting – something that would knit up quickly without a lot of concentrating. The design is a classic ribbed sock, with the rib continuing on the gusset. Once the rib is set, it’s easy to read off the previous row and the socks come together very quickly. I like a solid sock, but the simple design allows variegated and beautiful hand dyed yarns to shine. An easy knit that would make an ideal first sock.
