The Classic Santa hat crochet pattern emits an old Christmas feel with it’s easy and relaxed stitches and classic knit looking brim! My Classic Santa Hat one that features my favourite brim up technique and slip stitch crochet brim. I have also worked the brim so that it can be folded up to give a more cozy look. It is a wonderful hat to wear. I have sized it for an adult head (gender neutral!) but as it has quite a bit of stretch in the brim, my children are enjoying wearing it as well!

Finished Size: 9 x 13 inches laid flat, excluding pompom

Yarn: Wool-Ease® by Lion Brand® Yarn (80% acrylic; 20% wool; 197 yds/180 m; 3oz/85 g; (4) Medium/worsted weight): 1 ball of Tawny Port (Colour B), 1 ball of Fisherman (Colour A).

Hook: Size H/8 (5 mm) Hook. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge

OPTIONAL: Pompom to attach to the top
