3 gauges are given. These are 34,5 stitches per inch using #65, 4 yarn. Any loom that gets one of the gauges and has enough pegs may be used. Peg counts vary from 19-61 based on size and gauge selected. The pattern includes a chart comparing American, UK and European shoe sizing to help you choose sizes wherever you live. Suggestions for tweaking the pattern if you cannot match gauge and adjusting for a particular fit are also included.
