Classic String Bag
The gauge is 10 loops every 4 inches. It’s recommended to leave a length of thread approx. 20 inches long before making the slip knot which you can use to stitch up the bag when you’re done. It’s also recommended to make the handles first to economize the yarn. This bag can also be made with a heavy cotton thread and a size F/5 (4.0 mm) hook using the adaptation noted in the pattern.
