this is a beginner friendly pattern.

This warm and thick bonnet pattern will help you to make a classic rounded bonnet exactly like the pictured one! The pattern is for newborn size, 0-3m, 3-6m, 6-12m and 12-24m.

the pattern calls for very thick yarn - if you choose natural fibers, it will be the warmest bonnet your little one has ever had. it is perfect for colder (and very cold) weather.

the bonnet is knit flat, yet there are no seams and no sewing.

You will need yarn, knitting needles, a tapestry needle or crochet hook to weave in the yarn ends, a stitch holder or a piece of scrap yarn and two stitch markers (optional).

You need to get the gauge to be 14st in 4inches (10cm).
