Here is a super cute and easy pattern for an owl OR kitty (or both)! Worked bottom up and in the round, the square shape naturally forms quirky little ears at the top.

This PDF pattern gives detailed visual instructions for all sizes for both the owl and kitty, nicely formatted for printing.

Materials:
Worsted or aran weight acrylic or wool yarn
I (5.5mm) crochet hook
tapestry needle (for weaving in ends and sewing on details)
1/2”-3/4” black buttons for owl eyes

Gauge: 4 rows dc = 2” high, 6 dc = 2” wide. Adjust accordingly.

Difficulty level: easy
