Knitting pattern for a simple, comfortable summer top in garter stitch with thin straps and a V-neck in sizes XS | S | M ( L | XL | 2XL) 3XL

Structure:
The summer top is knitted in two parts: the front part and the back part. After knitting the front part in garter stitch for several rows, you start to work in decreases to shape the armholes. After a few more rows, the V-neck is shaped and the right side and the left side are knitted separately to shape the V-neck and the armholes. The back part is knitted similar to the front part with the only difference, that the shaping for the armholes and the V-neck starts at the same time.
To finish your top, you are going to close the side seams and to attach an i-Cord-finish to the V- neck.
The fit of the top has a slight positive ease. If you are in between two sizes, I recommend to choose the smaller size, because the cotton yarn is growing during wearing.
