Wristers are one of my favorite items to make. They take little time, little yarn, and little skill (I totally mean that in a good way! Perfect TV knitting right?!)
These fingerless gloves are worked flat and seamed up the palm. A thumb gusset is added into the square as you knit! A simple Bas-Relief (or Purl Inlay…what have you!) is added to give it a little pop!
Materials Needed:
Yarn: 2 Skeins Brown Sheep Company Lanaloft Sport (100% Wool) 50g/145yds in Japanese Maple (A) and Manor Grey (B).
Needles: US 4 (3.50mm) needles.
Notions: Tapestry Needle, Scissors, and Safety Pins/Stitch Holder.
Gauge: 24 sts and 32 rnds = 4” in Stockinette Stitch. If your gauge is not that given here, try a smaller or larger needle until you obtain this gauge. If you have to use a different size needle from that called for, it will not in any way alter the garment provided you knit 6 stitches to the inch.
Measurements:
Length: 10 inches.
Width: 10 inches.
