Claudette Tee
Introduction
The Claudette Tee is a retro top, perfect for an elegant Spring or Summer look that you can wear out for a relaxed day at your favorite café or out on the boardwalk. You could wear it with a pair of high-waisted trousers or a skirt!
Construction
The tee is worked bottom-up flat, beginning with a 3x1 rib and then stockinette stitch. SSK and K2tog are used to shape the armholes and the back neckline. The two shoulders are worked separately and then joined using a 3-needle bind off. Mattress stitch is used to seam up the sides. You then pick up stitches around the neck and work what is essentially 2 V-necks on either size to create the elegant square neckline. Stitches are then picked up around the armholes, where you will work German Short Rows in stockinette to create the micro-sleeve, ending with 1x1 ribbing - and Voilà!
Note: There is an option to knit the body in the round rather than flat. The instructions are included at the bottom of the pattern!
