Size: Adult female ~ 7” (18cm) circumference.

The gloves were worked in the round using
2 size US6 (4mm) 16” (40cm) circular needles.

My Niece Claudia requested a simple and unadorned pattern stitch for her fingerless gloves. After choosing a classic shade of grey I went with a couple of different basic rib stitch patterns along with garter and reverse stockinette. One of my favorite design features of the gloves is how the rib hugs the wrists and hands at just the right places.

These gloves will look great whether wearing your best coat or your favorite pair of “worn out” jeans.

♥For those knitters that appreciate video tutorials, I included a video on how to complete the increase used for these gloves. ♥The pattern also includes instructions for working the thumb flat as well as in the round.

Skills needed for the fingerless gloves are knit, purl, slip, k2tog decrease and increase (explained in the pattern).

As are all my knitting patterns; this pattern has been test knit twice and both copy and tech edited for accuracy.

I’m here if you need any help along the way!
