The Clementine (pronounced clemen-teene, after the name of the fruit) cowl is a big wrap around twice cowl consisting of two easy 4 row repeat patterns - one half a flowing ripple and the other a simple garter slip stitch textured pattern. This design produces a warm cowl for winter with an interesting two pattern flare. Colour choices will show off different styles achievable with this design.

The pattern has been written into a beginner friendly version and a short hand version.

One size fits all

DIMENSIONS:
24cm wide x 150cm long
Gauge and final measurements are not important in this pattern. It is a highly customisable pattern. Width is variable depending on yarn and needles used.

YARN:
Any 8ply/DK yarn

NEEDLES:
4.5mm - 5.5mm depending on your preference for how open you want the design to be.

DESIGN NOTES:
Pattern has been tested by test knitters
Pattern is knitted flat and then ends sewn together to form a long cowl.
Colour choices for this cowl are endless, like:
one colour for the whole cowl
one colour per half of the cowl
two colours for the ripple and one colour for the texture
etc
