Cleopatra Top
Welcome to cleopatra top!
Maybe this is the last perfect summer top for you to shine into the (late) summer!
This top is knitted top-down seamless. The yoke has certain repeats of dropped sts, which reminded me of cleopatra’s clothing like the exceptional collar jewelry or clothing.
This pattern has calculations to make it fit your body. You may start within a standard size, but will knit the top to fit your unique body along the way. You can also choose, if you want it to be fitted or less fitted.
This top has several options to make it your own.
-
Normal dropped st look with cropped length I really adore this look. It’s easy to wear with high waist pants, or long skirts. It looks so effortlessly cool.
-
Normal dropped st look with regular length If you don’t like cropped length, you can just make it as long as you want.
-
Modified dropped sts You can modify the dropped sts to look like litte dragonflies. It looks absolutely different than Normal lace pattern and is so adorable.
-
Lace hem If you want to add some little extra to your top, you can also add lace border instead of doing garter st finish.
It’s an easy beginner friendly top, which is fun to make. But careful, dropping stites intentionally requires a bit of bravery :)
