Inspired by Julie Andrews and the movie The Sound of Music, these socks bring to mind the beautiful mountains where the Edelweiss flower grows, and where all dreams seem possible.

This is a top (cuff) down sock.
The pattern is written for sizes small (56 sts), medium (64 sts) and large (72 sts).

Yarn and notions:

Yarn: 100g Fingering weight
Sample in Super Sock, by Tippy Tree Yarns
Colourways:
MC is Thotful Spot
CC is Heffalump Dreams (Winnie The Pooh Collection)

Needles:
2.75 mm for the cuff (2.5mm might be sufficient if you are a loose knitter)
2.25 mm for the leg, heel flap and foot
* I use needles with a long cable for magic loop (or use your preferred needles such as 9 in circulars or dpns).

Gauge: 9 sts = 1 inch in stockinette on 2.25mm

Extra options included:

Special instructions for shortie socks are in blue at the end of the written instructions.

Other options for heel flap are in purple throughout the main instructions.

Helpful videos on how to execute the Daisy Chain and the Edelweiss stitch are included, and some are also available on my Instagram (main grid and under the Climb Every Mountain socks tab): @marieelysedugal on IG.
