The pattern for this scarf looks complicated, but is quite simple. It is designed for an advanced beginner and includes some simple tricks to ensure a perfect knit.

The center Large Leaf motif includes 4 “resting rows” - just stockinette stitch which are a requirement of Destashification Knitting.

The side panels are very simple stitches - seed stitch, a 2 stitch twist stitch and a 7 stitch little leaf design.

The twist stitches eliminate the sagging stitches that can sometimes occur when bringing yarn forward from a knit stitch to a purl stitch.
