This shawl was inspired by a knit pattern I saw online. It is a companion design to our Climbing Leaves Stripe Shawl. It is technically an asymmetric shawl, but the dimensions end up being like a regular triangle. With one cake of yarn you get a nice sized shawl that is lightweight and drapy and soooo soft!

This shawl starts at the corner with the first leaf section and increases on only one side. We will add new leaf sections as we increase in size. I would say the skills needed to make this shawl are Intermediate, but it will take a little intuition and experience to apply the instructions to each section.

To make my shawl, I used one cake of Yarn Bee 44th Street in the “Bruschetta” color. My finished shawl is 52” across the top and 27” tall at the center point. You can use any weight yarn and corresponding hook, though keep in mind that the larger yarn you use, the less leaf sections you will have.
