Clinch River Felted Hats
The Clinch River Felted Hats pattern is a collection of six hats that look the same but are different sizes and lengths. The hats are named
Audrey (Small)
Lindsey (Medium)
Jeanie (Medium, taller than the Lindsey)
Amy (Large)
Sandy (X-Large)
Ramey (X-Large, taller than the Sandy)
This design can be knit with any worsted wool or wool blend yarn that will felt.
This pattern includes tutorial for the Emily Ocker Cast On.
These hats are great for needle felting designs. The needle felting in the photos are shown as an example of what can be added to the hats. There are no needle felting instructions with this pattern.

This pattern was originally only available through a training class. Due to high demand I have now decided to make it available as a pattern.
Worsted Weight Yarn:
• 250 - 300 yards; 100% wool or blend that will felt
Needles Used:
• US10 (6mm) double point
• US10 (6mm) circular Length of circular needle can be 40” for Magic Loop or use a 16” (40cm) and move to 24” (60cm) when enough stitches are on the needle.
• Crochet Hook G or H (4.25mm or 5mm) – for Emily Ocker Cast On (Instructions included)
Supplies:
• Stitch markers
• Darning needle
Techniques Used:
• knit, purl, kfb, M1L, p2tog
• knitting in the round
