Clocada is an oversized top-down raglan sweater with a texture panel at the front. Knit either holding two strands of yarn for added fluff or in DK weight, it’s a comfortable warm project with a lot of room to make it your own. You can easily vary the look of the center panel by arranging the charts in a different manner or spacing the bell shapes more or less.
Starting at the back of neck, the raglan shape is straightforward and allows you to get to know the simple geometric motif. This is scaled differently across sizes and comes in charted as well as written instructions. The hem is split for a more relaxed look. Sleeves are worked straight and slightly gathered at the cuff. The sweater is finished by picking up the neckline.
These simple construction and texture details add a bit of fun to this staple garment which allows you to enjoy a variety of yarn combinations to make your own winter cocoon !

Choose a size with about 15 to 25 cm – 6 to 9 ¾“ positive ease. Shown in size 3 on an 84 cm – 33” bust.

Yarn :
The sample is made with a strand of fingering weight and a strand of lace weight together.
You will need
950 (1050 / 1150 / 1250 / 1350 / 1400 / 1450 / 1500 / 1600 / 1700) meters
1040 (1150 / 1258 / 1368 / 1476 / 1530 / 1586 / 1640 / 1750 / 1860) yards
of each yarn, or of one DK weight yarn to be knitted on its own.
Sample was knit with Stranded Dyeworks BFL Masham in Grubby Pink (fingering weight) and Holst Garn Titicaca in Heather rose (lace weight).

Needles :
Main Fabric : 4 mm (US 6) circular needles with appropriate length to knit in the round and magic loop or DPNs.
Ribbing : 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needles with appropriate length to knit in the round
or sizes required to get gauge

Gauge :
20 st x 26 rnds per 10 cm – 4” with larger needles in stockinette stitch after blocking

Notions :
Stitch markers, tapestry needle and scissors
Stitch holder or scrap yarn to put sleeves stitches on hold
Row counter recommended

Clocada est un pull raglan oversize tricoté du haut vers le bas avec un panneau texturé sur le devant. Créé soit en tenant deux fils ensemble pour le côté duveteux ou en DK, c’est un projet chaud et confortable avec beaucoup de possibilités de modifications. Vous pouvez facilement changer l’aspect du panneau central en arrangeant les diagrammes de différentes façons ou en espaçant plus ou moins les formes de noppes.
Commencé sur la nuque, la forme du raglan est intuitive et permet de se familiariser avec le motif géométrique simple. Celui-ci est adapté sur les différentes tailles et est expliqué à la fois en diagramme et en instructions écrites. Le bas du pull est fendu pour un style plus décontracté. Les manches sont droites et légèrement resserrées aux poignets. Le pull se termine en relevant les mailles pour le col.
Cette construction simple et ces détails texturés ajoutent de l’intérêt à ce vêtement classique qui vous permet de profiter d’un large choix d’associations de fils pour créer votre propre cocon hivernal !
