Cloche Encounter
Cloche Encounter is a quick-to-knit project embellished with an I-cord flower and embroidered leafy flourishes. One special button forms the large flower’s center. Make it in cheerful colors to brighten up the cold winter days or in subtle neutrals for a sophisticated, feminine hat.
The pattern includes full-size diagrams for all embroidery.
Skills: Knit, purl, knitting in the round, short rows, decreasing, basic embroidery.
Tutorial: 4-pages of photos with step-by-step embroidery instructions.
PDFs: Three PDFs are provided - 4 pages: pattern only, 4 pages: tutorial only, and 8 pages: pattern plus tutorial. You may choose which one(s) to download and print.
Errata: The most recent pattern version is Cloche Encounter, 044-151112-RevA. On older versions, the following changes apply: On p. 2, the instructions for the wedge should read “Rows 1-6 are short rows, worked back and forth. Circular knitting resumes with round 7.” The former version read “resumes with round 3,” which is incorrect.
