This fingering weight cloche hat is crocheted in the round from the crown down to the brim making it seamless. It is simple to make but a bit of concentration may be needed when working the chin strap loops inside.

The hat bands are fully adjustible in size & decorated with a fun crocheted tassel flower that is easily re-positioned anywhere around the hat depending on your preference. The optional chin strap is competely removable & fully adjustable to ensure a comfortable fit.

Hat in 5 sizes to fit head measurements as below
0-3 months (37cms/14.5in), 3-6 months (39cms/15 3/8in), 6-12 months (42cms/16.5in), 1-3 years (48cms/18 7/8in), 3-10 years (52cms/20.5in).

Materials Needed
1 x 50g ball (196yds) Size 0-3m, 2 x 50g balls (392yds) for all other sizes of Katia
Panama 100% cotton 4Ply (fingering) weight yarn in main hat colour (or same yardage
of another fingering weight yarn).
10g - 15g (40- 60yds) oddment of Katia Panama 100% cotton 4Ply (fingering) weight cotton or similar yardage of yarn in a contrasting colour for hat bands, flower & chin strap.
2 to 4 Normal or novelty shaped 12mm size buttons with shank (2 for hat bands plus 2
for the optional chin strap).
1 to 3 Clear transparent 12mm size buttons with 2 or 4 holes, not a shank (1 for
tassel flower plus 2 for the optional chin strap).
1 x sewing needle & reel of thread in colour to match your hat/chin strap bands or buttons.
1 x 2.5mm crochet hook, 1 x blunt ended bodkin, 1 x stitch marker
