Close to Home A Frame Pillow
Bring in the good vibes to your home with this A-Frame House pillow. This cheerful cushion is perfect for nestling in with your pillow collection on the living room couch, or for your child’s room or nursery.
If you are looking to make a lovely baby shower gift, this is sure to be a unique and welcome addition for baby’s handmade toy collection.
The pattern is for one pillow, the A-frame house, using a bulky weight yarn. A super bulky yarn could be substituted to create a larger pillow, or a lighter weight yarn to create a smaller toy or rattle version.
The fifteen page PDF includes written instructions, a color chart, links if you need more help with certain techniques, and thirteen detailed photos to help you with finishing techniques, embroidery and more.
Some previous knowledge of crochet colorwork is helpful, but not necessary for this pattern. This pattern uses simple tapestry crochet techniques. I provide a link with very detailed instructions that are helpful with troubleshooting if you are new to tapestry crochet.
This pillow is the first of the Close to Home Crochet Pattern Collection. As I was designing the collection, everything in our world changed. The home has a bit of a different meaning to us all now, and this design is my way of wishing you all the peace and safety in your home in the upcoming days.
