I was searching for a way to make purse handles and didn’t want to spend too much money on it.
Furthermore I wanted the handle to match my purse ;-)

Then I thought about Clothesline Crochet and thought that this must be possible with knitting, too.

I show there another idea for making I-cord based purse handles, but this is no pattern that would belong to the ravelry pattern database.
