This hat was knit with a soft, springy merino yarn held with a strand of kidsilk (mohair.) It is soft, light and warm with a gorgeous halo from the mohair. If mohair isn’t your thing, this hat can also be worked with a sport weight wool alone.

The hat has an interesting brim with a combination of ribbing and twisted cabled stitches. The rest of the hat is simple stockinette with pretty decreases around the crown.

The instructions are both written and charted.
