We all have places in our childhood where lessons are learned and taught.For all of us a rug in the garden overlooking Galway Bay. Many people cannot remember a childhood without television, video games, etc. I remember laying on a rug with our Mam in the day as she read Keats, Yeats, Louisa May
Alcott, Mark Twain, amazing poetry. We would lay on the rug and make animals in the clouds. At night the same rug would come out and Da taught us about the stars and constellations.
I learned to navigate by the stars and amazing ghost stories. I cannot bring back the magic to all of you but the socks are the colour of clouds in an amazing sky and that I can share.
