Yarn
The shawl is knit in two colors using one strand of a mohair/silk lace weight yarn held together with one strand of a merino single-ply fingering weight yarn.

Any similar combination or any sport weight yarn that blocks well should work well for this pattern.

This is the recommended yardage/meterage to knit this shawl in a sport weight yarn. If you are holding a lace weight together with a fingering weight, please be sure to have the following yardage/meterage per weight for each color:

400 yards/366 meters | 550 yards/503 meters for the light color,
400 yards/366 meters | 640 yards/585 meters for the dark color

US Size 8/5.0 mm (middle size) or size needed to obtain gauge or for a fabric you love.
