Cloud Stripe Sweater
Cloud Stripe is a sweater that uses yarns to add interest, lightness and drape to its simple construction.
It is designed especially for those who love seamless knits: worked from the top down with short rows at the neckline and raglan shoulder shaping.
The cashmerino stripes at the waist and forearm are felted and add texture and may shrink slightly. (Its easy to felt, just wet and rub the stripe vigorously.. adding a cheap washing detergent can speed up the process.)
The result is a light, airy fabric reminiscent of clouds, inspired by Teresa Dair’s contemporary style.

It is knit with Dairing Seta Soie Silk, a beautiful textured 100% silk, and Dairing hand dyed cashmerino. http://www.dairing.com.au
