Cloudberry Hat
Looking for a hat pattern full of gorgeous texture and fun stitches…the Cloudberry Hat has been designed with all of this in mind. It also works up to be a very warm hat for the winter months.
This pattern is suited for more experienced crocheters as it works with many advanced crochet stitches however; very detailed instructions are provided for all steps of the hat. The band is made with two different slip stitch techniques to achieve a knit-look and the body of the hat is worked up with the “uneven” berry stitch, which is described in the pattern.
Several different worsted weight yarns can be used with this hat pattern and they are listed in the overview above and within the pattern itself. You will require 1-2 balls of yarn, depending on whether or not you choose to use contrasting colours for the band of the hat and the body of the hat. You will also need an I (5.50mm) Hook and 3 stitch markers for this pattern. The hat is designed to be topped off with a pom pom so you can either used one made from yarn or, a faux fur pom pom.
The Cloudberry Hat can be made in any size, you create a band to the size you want and instructions are given for measurements to aim for based on the size you are making (preschooler through to adult).
Thank you for stopping by my listing, I hope you enjoy the pattern!
