This pattern was first published in August 2017, but has now been updated with preemie and newborn sizes and instructions on how to knit in the round.

The pdf tutorial has lots of photos, videos and step by step instructions to help you through your project.

The baby diaper cover can be knitted flat or in the round. Instructions for both versions are available in the pdf file. It’s knitted in garter stitch from the bottom up.

PATTERN INFORMATION:
- Available Sizes: teeny newborn (±2,250Kg/±5 lbs), tiny newborn (±2,700Kg/±6 lbs), small newborn (±3,150kg/±7 lbs), newborn (±3,600kg/±8 lbs), 0-1 months, 1-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, 9-12 months, 12-18 months, 18-24 months.

• Construction: 2 versions available. Knitted flat / Knitted in the round.
• Experience level: Advanced Beginner.
• Yarn: DK/sport weight yarn.
• Tension: 24 stitches x 48 rows = 10cm / 4” in garter stitch with 3,5mm (US 4) needles.
• Yardage (diaper cover): approx. 90-225 meters depending on size.
• Needles: - 3,5mm (US 4) and 3mm (US 2 1/2) circular or straight needles, a pair of 3mm (US 2 1/2) double pointed needles or a crochet hook for the waist cord.
• Knitting techniques: Knit, Purl, simple increases and decreases, picking up stitches, I-cord (optional), bind off in pattern (full instructions given in the pattern).
• Languages: English and Portuguese.
