The construction starts with a provisional cast on at the center of the upper body that is worked sideways and directly flows into the sleeves. Then you pick up stitches to work the other side of the upper body. Once the upper body and sleeves are finished, stitches for the lower body are picked up. For the stranded knitting you can either work in the round by adding use a steek or flat in rows if you prefer.
