Clover Romper is worked from the top to the bottom. First, the neckline is shaped with short-rows for a better fit. Next, the Raglan increases and the Body. Then, the front and the back crotch gusset are worked. The sleeves and ruffle are worked last.
Ruffle at the top of the romper - option 1. Ruffle under the bust - option 2.

Yarn: cotton yarn with a yardage of approx. 120 m/50 g (131 yds/1.75 oz). Pictured sample has been knit in Naco Calico (50% cotton, 50% premium acrylic; 245 m/100 g (267 yds/3.5 oz)).
Possible substitutions – cotton, merino wool or blends with matching gauge with 4 mm (US6) needles.

Recommended yarn: Drops cotton merino, Lana Gatto super soft.

Needles: circular needles 3.5 mm (US4) with cable length 40 cm (16 in); circular needles 4 mm (US6) with cable length 40 cm (16 in) and 60 cm (24 in); double pointed needles 3.5 mm (US4) and 4 mm (US6).

Notions: 3 mm crochet hook, tapestry needle, scissors, markers, 4 (4) 4 (4) 4 (5) 5 buttons.

Gauge: make a gauge swatch and count your stitches after washing and blocking. It might be necessary to change needle size to achieve a matching gauge. If you knit tighter (have more stitches), use thicker needles, if you knit more loosely (have fewer stitches), use thinner needles.
