GAUGE:
Swatching is essential to obtain a finished piece with desired measurements: 18 sts and 23 rows = 10 cm (4 in) in Stocking stitch with 5.0 mm needles.

STITCHES USED:
2/2 Rib: knit 2 sts, purl 2 sts.
Stocking stitch: knit all sts.
Diamond pattern knit in the round: 3 sts Right Cross Cable (3CR): k the 2nd and 3rd sts holding sts in front of the 1st st, then work the 1st st and drop the 3 sts.
3 sts Left Cross Cable (3CL): work the 3rd st at back of work, then work the other 2 sts and drop the 3 sts.
