I developed this pattern in order to have some “themed” items for a CHICKEN DAYS fair in Wayne, Nebraska. They are simply little chickens, and awfully cute. Most sales were to younger girls who sported them in their hair as barrettes. They could also make a nice little pin for a shirt or even a decal for a hat or other crafty item you may be creating!
Materials
• Crocodile clips or other barrettes, hot glue or super glue to attach
• Lily and Cream worsted, gauge 4 yarn in white, yellow, and red
• 2 Black, plastic, safety eyes, 6mm
• Size H crochet hook

Pattern is easy enough for a beginner crochet artist.
