This bag is a quick knitting project which is perfect for gifting (or keeping for yourself ;))
We start by knitting the top of the bag; by casting on stitches and joining in the round. We then work stocking stitch in the round for a while before making increases then decreases for the shaping at the bottom of the bag. We then use 3 needle bind off to finish the bag (or we sew the bottom of the bag) and knit up a strap!

Gauge
In stocking stitch (knit one row, purl one row)
10 stitches: 13cm/5 inches (wide)
10 Rows: 8cm/3.1 inches (length)

Sizing
Height of Bag: 19cm/7.5inches
Width of Bag: 24cm/9inches

Materials needed
Size 10mm Circular needle with an 35cm cord (or use magic loop method if you do not have one this short)
Darning needle
Scissors for cutting yarn
BOR Marker Beginning of round marker

Yarns:
DK Use 5 strands held together if using DK!
Drops Merino Extra Fine
Stylecraft Special DK
Hobbi amigo DK
Paintbox Yarns DK

Worsted/Aran Use 3 strands held together - please do check the gauge if you want your bag to get exactly the same measurements as mine!

Fur Trim
For the fur trim, use one strand of fur and one strand of the dk that you will be using for the body of the bag. I recommend: King Cole Luxury Yarn OR Scheepjes Furry Tales

Yarn amounts: this bag weighs around 120grams, meaning that you will need 354 metres of dk! You will use around 10 grams of fluff!

Knit Purl
M1R Making a right leaning increase in between two stitches
M1L Making a left leaning increase in between two stitches
K2tog Making a right leaning decrease where the knitter knits two stitches together
SSK Making a left leaning decrease where the knitter slips two stitches onto the right needle knitwise (one at a time), places the two stitches back on the left needle and knits the two stitches together. SSK is an abbreviation for slip, slip, knit
