The Cluster Cap is a two-color hat knit, mixing twisted rib with a cluster texture. The texture at the top creates a looser fit, while the ribbing compensates for this and keeps the hat close to your head.

For this hat, you’ll need two 50g skeins in two contrasting colors. When I make this hat, I use 100g skeins so that I can make two hats and then add the leftovers towards a scrappy version of this hat using more than two colors.

While this pattern includes directions for a two-color hat, you can easily add colors to use leftover DK scraps you have left from other projects.
Alternatively, you can use a single color to emphasize the texture.
