This is a motif that I came up with one day when I was doodling with a hook and yarn. I made it with scraps of worsted weight yarn for the centers. You could select colors to match you décor. I did discover that, due to the delicate nature of the design, the motif does not really lend itself to the use of ombre yarn. It is lap size, so it makes up quickly, but you can make it larger if you want.

Finished afghan measures about 40” by 56”.
