Crochet bag can be used as either an envelope clutch or a crossbody bag, it’s good for any occasion! It’s compact in size, but it’s still big enough to carry your essentials. The fold-over design secures with a magnetic snaps, allowing you to have easy access to the items inside.
This is beginner friendly, easy crochet pattern; this handbag works up so quickly and easily, you will work the entire body of the bag in one piece and never have to cut your yarn (clutch pattern allows you to create a bag continuously)!

The handbag pattern/crochet pdf pattern is 10 pages long, providing you with every detail that you need to complete a crochet pouch. Detailed row by row instructions (pictures of the crocheting process, charts and video links to avoid misunderstanding)
Materials:
Any yarn (I used polyester rope without core, 5 mm, 100 m (3937 in).
The project will look great in cotton or macrame cord too!
2 magnetic button clasp snaps, chain
2 metal swivel bag clips
Tools:
Hook suitable for your yarn (I used 5 mm)
Thread, needle
Scissors, lighter

Slip stitch
Half double crochet

Size of the finished item
The size of finished crochet bag depends on the cord and hook size. My small bag size is:
26 cm x 14 cm (10.2 in x 5.5 in).
