Clutch Bag
This is a simple Crochet Bag Pattern, learn how to crochet a bag, that can be worn across the body, on one shoulder, or as a clutch. Such crochet purse could be a great gift!
Materials, tools:
Any yarn (I used Maccaroni Cotton Filled (Cotton Cord 3mm, with the core, 100m/200g)~165 m/6 496 in)
Hook suitable for your yarn (I used 4 mm)
Magnetic button clasp snap
Chain, 2 metal swivel bag clips
Techniques needed to make a clutch - basic stitches (US terms):
Slip stitch (sl st)
Single crohet (sc)
Double crochet (dc)
Puff stitch (ps)
Size of the finished item:
The size of finished bag depends on the yarn and hook size. My bag:
16 cm (6.2 in) (height) x 25 cm (9.8 in) (length)
Gauge: 14 stitches and 8 rows in 4 inches
