The coast cardi is worked in rows seamlessly from the top down. Neckband and front bands are worked in k1,p1 ribbing, the neck line is shaped, using the german short rows method. For the shoulders, increases will be made in every row along one seam stitch (contiguous method by Susie Myers). Once sleeves are divided from body, the body and sleeve ribbing (k3,p2) will start after some rows in stockinette stitch.
