Coast to Coast Socks
In the North of England there is a famous cross-country walk known as the Coast to Coast. It stretches from the Irish Sea at St Bees in the west to Robin Hood’s Bay and the North Sea in the east, a total of 192 miles. This straightforward sock with its all over texture pattern was inspired by the twists and turns of the footpath and the wave washed beaches at each end.
These instructions are for cuff down socks with a heel flap and gusset construction using the magic loop method which is my preferred method of working in the round.
Of course, you can use double pointed needles if you prefer!
