Coastal Breeze Tank
You don’t need to live near the coast to wear this summer tank top. In fact, toss a jacket or blazer over it to wear it all year round!
The body begins by working both tails separately, then joining them to work in the round to the armholes. Waist shaping adds a flattering touch to the fit, and a few stitches at each side of the body are worked in k1, p1 rib.
The lace pattern on the front yoke is begun before dividing for the armholes on sizes XS to XL, and is begun after dividing for the armholes on sizes 2XL and 3XL.
The k1, p1 ribbing used as an armhole edging starts by picking up some stitches along the curved edge that begins the armhole shaping, and is worked as an applied edging. Once those picked up stitches are used up, then the remaining single stitch decreases are worked as part of the front/back yoke so the ribbing continues vertically.
