Although I love shawls, I find that scarves are more practical for me day to day. But, I love the pointed ends like most shawls have so I decided to design this scarf in the shape of a parallelogram allowing these pointed ends to be created. The lace section creates a lovely point of interest with the body of the scarf being worked in rhythmic garter and eyelets.

Sizes and Finished Circumference
Approximately 67”/170cm in length measured on one side of the piece and 10.25”/26cm width

Yarn
4ply / Fingering 750 yards / 685 metres

Suggested Yarn
Skein Daintree Fingering/4ply (380 yards / 347 metres per 100g)

I used two skeins of Daintree yarn which is 65% Merino, 20% Bamboo, and 15% Silk in Henna Blush. A Merino blend with Bamboo or Silk would be lovely for the drape quality but any yarn with good stitch definition would be ideal

Suggested Needles
US 4/3.5mm

Gauge - worked over garter stitch and blocked - 23sts x 45 rows = 4”/10 cm
