“Coat of Many Colors” is a single-thickness afghan. The chevron pattern comes from differently shaped pieces, not from laying squares over one another.

With fingering yarn, this afghan is 45” x 68”. Each long edge of a motif is 9”, and each short edge is 4.5”.

I used an E hook, but others may prefer an F.

I used 1750 yards of fingering weight acrylic yarn.
