This is a great stash buster pattern. If you have half a skein of sock yarn laying around, that’s perfect to knock out one of these beautiful cowls! They also make great gifts, so burn through your stash while stocking up on Christmas presents!

The gauge isn’t particularly important in this cowl, since it can be tighter or looser and work perfectly. The more solid the color, the better you can see the cables. If you want a taller cowl, do a few extra repeats of the cable pattern! It’s a very customizable pattern and fun to make. A quick knit.
