I designed this hat for my husband, who is the biggest supporter of my crochet endeavors. It was intended to look masculine, yet be soft and warm for our cold Missouri weathers. It has a faux knit-look section, and a cable section that really sets the pattern off. This pattern is written for an adult male, but it will easily fit a female. I have made smaller ones simply by going down one hook size and reducing one row per each section of cables and knit-look. You can even make a slouchy by increasing the number of rows. The possibilities are endless!
