Yarn: Madelinetosh Tosh DK (DK weight; 100% merino wool; 205 m / 225 yds per 100 g skein)
Yarn A: Gemini Twins; 1 (1, 1) skein
Yarn B: Medieval; 1 (1, 1) skein

Gauge: 18 sts & 21 rows = 10 cm / 4” over two-colour Brioche pattern on 4mm / US 6 needles after blocking.

Needles: 4mm / US 6 knitting needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

Notions: 1 stitch marker for beginning of round, stitch markers to note pattern repeats (optional), row counter, cable needle or locking stitch marker, tapestry needle for weaving ends, optional pompom maker

Notes: Cobaltoan is worked in the round from the bottom up, starting with the brim and ending with the crown, using two-colour brioche decreases for the crown shaping. The hat is completely reversible, but “RS” in the pattern refers to the light side.
