Cobbs Beret
FREE for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic
The Cobbs Beret was inspired by a design on the ceiling of the Henry Ives Cobbs Federal Building in Chicago, which was built in 1905 and destroyed in 1965. It is a beautiful design which is interesting to look at from any direction. The pattern is suitable for advanced beginners or beginning intermediate knitters. Both written and charted instructions are included.
The pattern comes in sizes S (M, L) to fit sizes 19” (21”, 23”). There are slouchy and less slouchy versions. The slouchy versions will take up to 220yd of DK weight yarn, while the less slouchy version will take up to 200yd of DK weight yarn. In addition to yarn, a cable needle, stitch marker, US 4/3.5mm 16” circular, US 6/4mm 16” circular, and US 6/4mm DPNs or cable suitable for magic loop are needed.
