This shawl is completely customizable, make a small shoulder shawl or a large swingy shawl. You can use any weight yarn from lace to aran. A small shoulder shawl in aran weight will take about 350 yards and a large lace weight shawl will take about 700 yards. Use a yarn that blocks well.

This pattern is designed for maximum impact with minimum effort. The gauge swatch is the beginning of the shawl, if you like how your gauge looks continue working the shawl. If you don’t like it you can change needle sizes. The lace body is an easily memorized pattern that will allow you to relax and watch a movie. The border is designed to continue the increases to match the body, and also use up every bit of your yarn.
Both the body and the lace border are completely written and charted.
